Fiscal Notes

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

There could be some costs associated with this change; however costs may be offset by savings related to consolidation of services. It is assumed that the transfer would be implemented within existing resources.

Bill Analysis

SB 447 would establish Midwestern State University as a component of the Texas Tech University (TTU) System to operate under the management and control of the board of regents of the TTU system.
