Bill Analysis

HB 687 would revise the pharmacy and pharmacists occupation code to expand the ability of pharmacists to order or administer immunizations or vaccinations to patients who are at least three years old as long as the immunizations or vaccinations are: authorized or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, and administered in accordance with the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices vaccine-specific recommendations.
