Bill Analysis

HB 4661 would define what sexual harassment means in the government code. HB 4661 would require lobbyists to complete a sexual harassment training every two years following their registration with the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC). The bill would allow the TEC to deny, revoke, or suspend a registration under certain circumstances. HB 4661 would require the executive director of the TEC to temporarily suspend for 90 days the registration of a lobbyist charged with certain offenses.
