HB 4328 would require any municipality with a population of 500.000 or more to provide to homeless individuals residing in the municipality access to mobile showers.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action is opposed to HB 4328 on the principle of limited government. The state should not mandate this for a municipality of any size. This type of service is best left to philanthropic nonprofit organizations using funds raised through charitable giving.
