Bill Analysis

HB 3897 would limit the amount of a fee which the governing body of an incorporated city or town may levy or collect for a brewer's license or brewer’s self-distribution license to no more than 50% of the state fee for such a license.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action is neutral toward CSHB 3897 which caps the fee much higher than the engrossed version of the bill which set a 10% cap.
