Bill Analysis

HB 3616 gives the Texas Commission on Licensing and Registration authority to deny an occupational license to a person convicted of, entered a plea of nolo contendere or guilty to, or received deferred adjudication for promoting prostitution.

HB 3616 would also allow the Texas Commission on Licensing and Registration to revoke the license of a massage school or massage establishment if the commission or executive director determines they were involved in sex trafficking or prostitution on the premises of the school or establishment
