HB 3564 would prohibit the Texas Department of Insurance from rescinding a certificate of compliance issued for an improvement for purposes of coverage through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.


Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action opposes HB 3564 because it violates the limited government principle. TDI should retain the authority to rescind a certificate in the event that it becomes necessary to do so.
