Bill Analysis

HB 3319 would require information relating to the requirements and procedures concerning the passing of certain vehicles to be included in driving education courses.

The bill would require TxDOT develop and implement a move over or slow down public awareness campaign that consists of online advocacy, issuance of public service announcements, distribution of materials, and posting signage on roadways. The cost of this campaign would be funded by gifts, grants, donations, matching funds, and other funds made available for that purpose.
