Bill Analysis

HB 3215 would revise the energy efficiency compliance standards for certain buildings by substituting "Standard 301 of the American National Standard for the Calculation and Labeling of the Energy Performance of Dwelling and Sleeping Units using an Energy Rating Index" in place of the current "Energy Rating Index Compliance Alternative". This bill would also outline how Standard 301 should be used to measure compliance in certain climate zones.
