HB 3134 would allow electronic notice by email as a method of serving notice to an individual of a hearing to suspend or revoke the individual's license or permit issued by the comptroller's office. Texas Action is neutral on HB 3134. On the one hand this could be beneficial for reducing expenses related to serving notice, however it may also cause ineffective service to be given.
