Relating to exceptions to municipal plat requirements for certain property developments.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2997 would allow municipalities to define and classify developments to determine whether specific developments of tracts of land are required to be platted. This bill would also raise a municipal population requirement cap for exemption to prepare a plat from 5,000 to 65,000.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 2997.
