Bill Analysis

HB 2757 would increase from two to four the number of raffles a nonprofit wildlife conservation entity may hold each year. The bill would increase raffle prize limits from $50,000 to $75,000.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action supports HB 2757 which supports limited government by allowing nonprofit wildlife conservation organizations more opportunities to hold charitable raffles. The state of Texas should get out of the business of regulating charitable raffles entirely and allow any organization to hold any number of charitable raffles.
