Relating to the right to remove property encroaching on areas owned or controlled by the Hidalgo County Drainage District Number 1.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated
HB 2094 would allow the Hidalgo County Drainage District Number 1 to remove property placed on land owned by the district without the consent of the owner of the property. This bill would also allow the district to use civil lawsuit processes against the owner of the property to recover the cost of removing the property. Telecommunications property is exempt from this bill.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 2094 as this bill does not impact our liberty principles.
