Bill Analysis

HB 2021 would establish a federal funds administration board to aid in the appropriate allocation and transfer of funds received from the CARES Act, Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, and any additional federal funding appropriated to the state for federal fiscal years 2022 and 2023 that is designated as being an emergency requirement, as well as other federal money designated for certain purposes and made available under federal legislation enacted after the 87th Legislature adjourns.
