Relating to the taking of unbanded pen-reared quail and pheasants by certain landowners.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 1699 would allow the non-commercial collection or hunting of unbanded, pen-raised pheasants or quail on private property of at least 5 contiguous acres. It is also noted that nothing in the bill will authorize a person to exceed a bag limit for pheasant or quail.
