Bill Caption

Relating to the establishment of the Texas Police Service Animals Memorial Monument in the Capitol Complex.

Fiscal Notes

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 1677 would require the State Preservation Board to establish a Texas Police Service Animals Memorial Monument on the Capitol Complex. The monument would be funded by gifts, grants, and donations.

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 1677 would be privately funded and therefore does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principles. For these reasons Texas Action remains neutral on HB 1677.
