Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action is opposed to HB 1504 on the principle of limited government. Texas public schools should do a better job of teaching the current core curriculum rather than adding new curriculum elements that would almost certainly be politically charged, heavily biased, and deeply divisive. There are plenty of options for students to study these issues during their postsecondary education.
