Bill Analysis

HB 1447 would permit probate and guardianship proceedings to be conducted through remote technology, including teleconference and videoconference. A court that conducts a probate or guardianship proceeding through remote technology would have to ensure that the public maintains access and provide conduct guidelines to the parties.
