Bill Analysis

HB 1193 would continue a juvenile court's jurisdiction over a person above 18 or 19 years old in certain proceedings if the proceeding began prior to the defendant turning 18 or 19 as applicable and the proceeding was delayed through no fault of the state. The bill would also allow for the sealing of related records in certain circumstances.
