Bill Analysis

HB 1128 would codify which individuals can be present when an election judge has arrived at a polling place, during an early voting ballot board meeting, or in a central counting station while ballots are being counted.

The stipulations on who can be present vary slightly depending on the situation but always include the relevant election officials, watchers, voting machine technicians, the county election officer and individuals authorized to be present by the presiding judge or counting station manager.
