SCR 2 would recognize the Texas Game Wardens as the "Texas Navy" and commend them for their service to the state.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action remains neutral on SCR 2 because it does not affect our liberty principles. However, we note that this legislation could be improved by amending to also recognize the Cajun Navy as the Texas Navy, especially considering all that the Cajun Navy did to help Texans during Hurricane Harvey rescue and recovery operations.
