Fiscal Notes

Estimated Two-year Net Impact to General Revenue Related Funds for SB 733, As Introduced: an impact of $0 through the biennium ending August 31, 2021. The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill.

Bill Analysis

SB 733 would allow the Parks and Wildlife Commission to collect a fee for participation in the Managed Lands Deer Program. Revenue collected from these fees would be deposited to the General Revenue-Dedicated Game, Fish and Water Safety Account No. 9.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action remains neutral on SB 733 because it does not affect our liberty principles since the Managed Lands Deer Program is a voluntary program and the associated fees help pay for the program..
