SB 475 would establish the Texas Electric Grid Security Council as an advisory body "to facilitate the creation, aggregation, coordination, and dissemination of best security practices for the electric industry, including the generation, transmission, and delivery of electricity."
Texas Action is neutral on SB 475 because it does not affect our liberty principles. We do note that keeping the state's electric grid secure and protected is good public policy.
