SB 2304 would make updates to the Insurance Code to adjust state statute regarding Association Health Plans with new federal regulations. This will make it easier for employers to band together to negotiate better rates for health insurance plans for their employees.

Texas Action recommends supporting SB 2304 as it promotes our free market and limited government principles. Association Health Plans should be encouraged as much as possible to help reduce the cost of health insurance in a way that is consistent with free market and limited government principles.
