SB 1828 would allow the governor to designate a week as "Holocaust Remembrance Week" in public schools for the purpose of educating students on the Holocaust.
Vote Recommendation Notes
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 1828 this designation does not affect any of our liberty principles. However, we agree that teaching about the Holocaust in public schools is good policy.
