Bill Analysis

SB 1209 would prohibit municipalities from implementing licensing requirements if there are already state licensing requirements for that occupation.

Vote Recommendation Notes

SB 1209 would prevent duplicative and burdensome regulation by municipalities, as well as ensure the state is uniform on occupational licensing requirements. This supports our principles of limited government, free markets, and individual liberty.
