Bill Analysis

HB 396 would allow funds from the State Technology and Instructional Materials fund to be used on interstate freight and shipping as well as the insurance expenses associated with interstate freight and shipping, as opposed to just intrastate freight and shipping. This bill would also allow the Instructional Material and Technology Allotment to be used to purchase inventory software or systems for storing, maintaining, and accessing instructional materials.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This is a policy decision which does not affect our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
