Bill Analysis

HB 3808 would require students enrolled at a public institution of higher education in either a baccalaureate degree program, an associate's degree program, a dual credit course, or a joint high and junior college course to file a degree plan on the first day of the semester or the semester following a semester in which a student had earned a total of 30 credit hours. It would also require a student enrolled in a dual credit course to file a degree plan upon earning 15 hours of credit.

This bill would require a student enrolled in a multidisciplinary studies associate degree program to meet with an academic advisor to complete a degree plan that meets certain criteria.
