Bill Analysis

HB 294 would exempt incumbents from filing a petition with the board secretary to have their name printed on the ballot as a candidate for director of the Muleshoe Area Hospital District. It would no longer require a petition signed by at least 25 registered voters of the district.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action is neutral on HB 294 because it does not affect any of our liberty principles.
