Bill Caption
Relating to the allocation of expenses of a joint election to certain school districts.
Fiscal Notes
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
Under current law, a school district is required to only provide funds for a joint election proportional to the amount of voters that they are responsible for if the school district has territory in at least four counties that has a population of 46,100 and no part of which is located in a municipality. HB 2778 would increase the population requirement to 55,000.
