Relating to the movement of pedestrians in front of, under,
between, or through rail cars at a railroad grade crossing.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2775 would prohibit a pedestrian from moving in front of, under, between, or through the cars of a moving or stationary train occupying any part of a railroad grade crossing.
To the extent that the issue addressed by this bill is a problem, it is clearly within the scope of the legislature to address. However, this bill does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principles and we remain neutral.
