Bill Analysis

HB 2766 would amend the Government Code, Health and Safety Code, and Occupations Code related to electronically prescribing controlled substance prescriptions under the Texas Controlled Substances Act. The bill would require Schedule II drug prescriptions to be submitted electronically. Exceptions would apply in certain circumstances.
