Bill Analysis

HB 2714 would streamline occupational licensing requirements for LPG manufactures. The bill removes training requirements and seminars. Additionally, the bill would allow the Texas Railroad Commission (TRC) to distribute certain notices electronically, rather than over the mail.

Texas Action supports HB 2714. This bill supports our principle of limited government by removing additional layers of oversight in this particular field. Our State is need of occupational licensing reform, and this bill supports removing unnecessary requirements.
