This bill would add registered interior designers to the list of professionals entitled to place a mechanic's lien on a piece of real property in order to secure payment for services rendered.
Texas Action supports HB 2346 which supports the property rights of an interior designer, who is entitled to be compensated for services rendered, by giving a means to secure payment. This bill also promotes personal responsibility on the part of a person who owes a debt to an interior designer. For these reasons we support HB 2346.
