Bill Caption
Relating to the dissolution of the North Montague County Water Supply District.
Fiscal Notes
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
HB 2329 would allow for the dissolution of a water supply district by requiring the directors of the North Montague County Water Supply District to close the affairs of the district. In doing this, all assets and liabilities of the district would be transferred to the City of Nocona.
Vote Recommendation Notes
While this bill is local in nature, it aligns with the principle of limited government by providing for the expedient dissolution of a no-longer-needed special district. For these reasons we support HB 2329.
