Relating to the information necessary to appropriately title certain flood damaged vehicles that have been repaired with federal financial assistance.

Bill Analysis

HB 2310 would direct The Texas Department of Transportation and the Texas Division of Emergency Management to coordinate with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to ensure that the department has information necessary to apply a notation for a flood damaged salvage vehicle title as required by Texas law, if the vehicle was repaired or salvaged using money from FEMA.

Texas Action remains neutral on HB 2310 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
