Relating to a work group on enhancing the training and credentialing of emergency management personnel.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2305 would authorize the creation of a work group with the purpose to develop a plan to better train emergency management personnel. The work group would be required to consult with institutions of higher education with emergency management degree programs. A report would be required to be submitted to the Governor and each member of the Legislature by November 1, 2020. The work group would be abolished January 1, 2021.
