HB 2068 would exempt documented tribal council members or employees of the legislative branch of tribal government for the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Tribe, the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo (Tigua Indian Tribe), or the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas from jury duty.
Texas Action is neutral on HB 2068 because it neither advances nor hinders any of our liberty principles.
