Bill Analysis

HB 201 would require that the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation (TCLR), if it elects members of the combative sports advisory board, appoint nine members. The bill specifies the required qualifications for membership. This bill would also provide for the continuation of a member's term and for the appointment of members as the terms expire, or as vacancies occur.

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action remains neutral on HB 201 because it is an administrative bill which does not affect our liberty principles.
