According to the Legislative Budget Board, no fiscal impact to the state is anticipated. 

Bill Analysis

HB 1884 would require that when a child is placed with a relative or other designated caregiver, the caregiver must be informed of the option to become verified by a licensed child-placing agency to operate an agency foster home, and of the permanency care assistance program by the Department of Family and Protective Services.
