Bill Analysis

HB 1767 would direct the Texas Railroad Commission, when establishing a gas utility's rates, to "presume that employee compensation and benefits expenses are reasonable and necessary if the expenses are consistent with recent market compensation studies."

Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action remains neutral on HB 1767 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
