Relating to the weapons proficiency of and the carrying of a handgun by qualified retired law enforcement officers.

Current law allows retired law enforcement officers who meet certain qualifications to carry a handgun. HB 1552 would make updates to these qualification requirements to match the requirements set forth under federal law.
