Bill Analysis
HB 1059 would amend the Water Code to
require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to appoint
a green storm water infrastructure and low impact development report group.
The group would be required to produce a report each biennium on the use
of green storm water infrastructure and low impact development in the
state. The bill outlines the items that are to be included in the report, such as
the public solicitation of comments under the authority of TCEQ.
Vote Recommendation Notes
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 1059 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
