No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

Bill Analysis

HB 1002 would require landlords who offer parking permits to tenants to issue the permit for a term coterminous with the tenants lease, and may not terminate the permit until the tenant's right of possession ends.


Vote Recommendation Notes

Texas Action remains neutral on HB 1002 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
