Relating to the repeal of certain riders for the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from the General Appropriations Act that are contingent upon the approval of certain Acts continuing those agencies during the 85th Regular Session.

Bill Analysis

This bill would repeal budget contingency riders for the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from the 85th legislature, regular session. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

This legislation will ensure that the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists may receive funding even though they will have been continued in the special session rather than the regular session. This bill does not have an impact on our principles and we remain neutral.
