Bill Caption

Urging the executive branch and the Congress of the United States to work in conjunction with the State of Texas to identify federal regulations promulgated during the last eight years.

Bill Analysis

This resolution would have the legislature urge the executive branch and U.S. Congress to work with Texas to identify federal regulations implemented the last eight years and determine whether they should be revised, delegated to state agencies, or eliminated.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This resolution enhances our limited government principle by taking a measure to reduce the federal regulatory burden on the state of Texas. We support SCR 26.
