Bill Analysis
Senate Bill 928 amends current Transportation Code by adding a section that would designate portions of certain highways as the Tom Lea Trail. Additionally, the bill would authorize the Transportation Commission to develop a Tom Lea Trail program which would designate historically significant locations, adopt and use a icon to promote tourism, and develop trail maps guiding tourist to the different highway locations.
