Bill Analysis
This bill would allow a vehicle used by a medical supply distributor to transport prescription drugs and other medical supplies to a hospital or other emergency care facility or pharmacy in a disaster area to operate as an emergency vehicle if certain conditions are met. The Texas Division of Emergency Management would be required to establish procedures in accordance with this section.
