Bill Analysis

This bill would establish a process for the disposition of complaints against nonprofit health corporations for alleged violations of the Occupations Code applicable to a health organization. All complaints would be privileged and confidential and not subject to disclosure. A nonprofit health corporation would also not be allowed to retaliate against an individual that files a complaint or reports a perceived violation.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principle, therefore we remain neutral.
