Bill Analysis

SB 384 would amend the Education Code so that the State Board of Education would be required to make all reasonable efforts to schedule end-of-course assessment instruments not to conflict with the administration of a nationally recognized assessment instrument, exam, or test administered by higher education institutions to award course credit based on performance.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill enhances our individual liberty principles by making it easier for students to balance normal school requirements along with earning college credits. We support SB 384.
